Object Description
Abstract geometrical color graphic, divided into two rectangular images; top image with yellow sun, landscape, blue image of bone; lower small rectangular image has series of borders in green, blue, yellow, and red box that contains several three-dimensional images. One of a series of nine "Dreamtime" series prints based on the Australian Aboriginal dreamtime mythology. Print created from dye-transfer printing: photographic emulsions are replaced by printing dyes. The nine "Dreamtime" images are composed of painted background which use lint, pastels, cut paper and oils on canvas, and fetishes made by the artist from native Australian materials such as exotic seed pods, braided grasses and feathers.
