Object Description
One of pair of Ch'ing Dynasty Chinese blue and white porcelain beakers which were produced for export to the European trade. They are matched pieces and comprise part of a garniture set of five pieces. Decorated with gardens and standing women, these wares also sport apocryphal K'ang Hsi reign marks underfoot. Garniture sets were specifically made to adorn European mantels, and were not used by the Chinese themselves.
