Object Description
Title, date and medium were taken from label written in 2007 by Jennifer Casler Price, Curator for Asian and Non-Western Art at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas

Compressed ribbed body, with four loop handles on the shoulders and stylized incised leaf motifs. Crazed glaze stops shortly above the underglazed base showing a body fired to a pale reddish color.

The teapot is supposed to have a cover; however, this cover was missing from the shipment and still has yet to be located. Description of cover: a concave lid topped with three leaves issuing from a bud.
