Object Description
"This piece expresses the idea of San Antonio as the embodiment of polarity, a battleground in an ongoing confrontation between, among other things, different ideas of space, power, and time." --Van Jones. Part 3-C of Sky Temple Suite consisting of six triptychs representing the six lights of day (morning, noon, afternoon, dusk, night, dawn). Scene depicts landscape, rain, storm clouds, many small and large power structures, column at right. Drawing on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Afternoon, 3-C, triptych to be hung with 1991.034 and 1991.035.
