Lithograph of a line drawing depicting the west view of the Shackelford County Courthouse in Albany, Texas. Attention is paid to the detailing of the stone structure with its central entrance, old wooden doors, and clock and bell tower. On either side of the entrance are tall bushes with additional trees and shrubs lining the walkway. Two birds fly above to right of clock tower. Drawing was an illustration by artist in book which highlighted Texas courthouses, "A Line on Texas" - Plate #131 Houston: Baxter + Korge, Inc., 1972
Handwritten in pencil on verso: Drawn July 1971 - one of the prettiest Courthouses I've seen in Texas - Setting from hill also good. Not many of these left - Note date clock and chimneys.
