Object Description
Brass double bar cross. Figure's hands are on top bar; legs on second bar indicating this could be the mercy to the thief crucified on the right hand. On the bottom end of the standard is a skull and cross bones, also shown on the thief's cross. Two angels at bottom of standard and Madonna represents Christ's blessing to the thief---the granting of forgiveness of sins and ascention into Heaven.
