Object Description
Terra cotta statuette of lady dancer kneeling and taking her bow, wearing a double bun hairdo, wrapped in a wide-sleeved long garment. Left arm back with hand near face, right arm extended. Black dot on forehead.

1/19/07: Some information about the piece was changed after research and examination by Jennifer Casler Price, Curator of Asian and Non-Western Art at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. This research was made possible through a grant funded by Institute of Museum and Library Services (MA-01-05-0387) for the period of October 2005- October 2007.
