Object Description
Painted image of Virgin on board. Piece is rectangular solid board 15 cm thick at thickest point. Virgin stands at center, 26 cm tall including crown. Virgin is enclosed in a mandorla. Her upturned crescent moon is barely discernable, being held at her feet by an angel. A floral border is painted around edges of panel, being most dominant in the corners. Virgin's hair, face and crown appear to be over-painted. Long, vertical gouges at bottom center are original and contain pigment.
