Object Description
A “birds-eye-view”. In the foreground a blue jay sits on rocks, looking down on a pool of water filled with coy fish and water lilies. The work is bordered with abstracted vegetation. The frame is original – wooden frame painted blue.
Beautifully abstracted image was based on an an actual Fort Worth location, a stone-lined reflecting pool in the yard of TCU English professor Lorraine Sherley. (First Light: Local Art and the Fort Worth Public Library)
