Object Description
"The leaves and branches of a cottonwood frame a lone man standing in his freshly plowed field, his mobile home parked beneath a big tree, and a small farming village in the distance" --Van Jones. Part 1-A of Sky Temple Suite consisting of six triptychs representing the six lights of day (morning, noon, afternoon, dusk, night, dawn). Scene depicts column at left, leaves with holes in them, body of water, farming village in distance, cows, large cottonwood tree trunks and leaves; highway, electric poles and lines and plowed field. Drawing on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Morning 1-A, triptych to be hung with 1991.029 and 191.030.
