Object Description
"The leaves and branches of a cottonwood frame a lone man standing in his freshly plowed field, his mobile home parked beneath a big tree, and a small farming village in the distance." --Van Jones. Part 1-B of Sky Temple Suite consisting of six triptychs representing the six lights of day (morning, noon, afternoon, dusk, night, dawn). Scene depicts plowed field, branch of a cottonwood tree that extends across top of drawing, a lone man with red shirt standing in his freshly plowed field, a grey pickup and San Jacinto monument. Drawing on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. Morning, 1-B, triptych to be hung with 1991.028 and 1991.030.
