A fine Chinese porcelain teapot and lid decorated with floral motifs and various borders in Ming style with overglaze enamels of coral red, green, yellow, etc. The white body of the ware is fine and dense and not irregular. No reign mark underneath. The palette is "famille verte" which evolved from the earlier "wu ts'ai" overglaze enamels.
