Marcello Boccacci, born in Florence in 1914 where he died in 1996. Former student of the Sordomuti National Institute in Florence, he has exhibited in many national and international galleries. His paintings are located at Guggheneim and Metropolitan Museum in New York, Tucson University and Tokyo Imperial Hall. He was a student of Gianni Vagnetti in the Institute of Fine Arts and in the Academy. He exhibited in 1950 at the Faubourg Gallerin Paris, in 1953 at New York's New Gallery (where she had already appeared in 1947 at the Sagitarius Gallery). In 1939 he won the Versilia Prize, in 1947, in Prato, in 1950 was awarded to Rosignano Solvay and in 1952 and 1954 at the Fiorino Exhibition in Florence. He personally ordered this latter city in 1940, 1942 and 1943, respectively presented by Raffaello Franchi, Gianni Vagnetti and Giovanni Papini. He has worked in the modern art gallery of Florence, at he Museum of Modern Art in New York, at the University of Tucson and in many Italian and foreign private collections.
