In 1930 Aunee married Olon Goff, and together they contributed much to the life of Albany's community. Her long ministry to families in time of need, joy, and grief resulted in countless dishes made in her kitchen and lovingly served. She was also a member of The Albany Study Club and was an avid painter participating in the Art Association for many years. Her works hang in homes all over the county, state and the world as her paintings were purchased by many international guests to the Fandangle. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing not only for herself but for many others including wedding dresses and contributing her talents to many of the original Fandangle costumes. Aunee was a dedicated wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend and beloved neighbor to more people than this article can hold.
