Ned Bosnick

American, (1937–2011)
Born just east of Pittsburgh in Universal, PA., Bosnick bought his first camera upon graduation from Penn Hills High School. He earned a master’s degree in cinema from UCLA in 1965 and wrote and directed a few films, all the while developing a growing interest in still photography. From 1982 to 1995, he photographed extensively in Texas and in Paris, using his background in composition, lighting, and cinematography. Bosnick died in Houston in 2011. Bosnick eraned his Bachelor's degree in 1959 from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his Master's degree in 1965 from UCLA, where he studied with director, actor and author Jean Renoir, the second son of Aline Charigot and the French painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Bosnick lived in Santa Barabara twice; Hollywood twice; New York City; Paris, France; South Bend, Indiana, and Houston twice.

1982-1995 Photographed extensively in Texas and Paris.
