Indigenous American: Tiwa
Indigenous American: Tiwa, (1921–2005)
Ralph Suazo carved the creatures he saw around his Taos Pueblo home in different kinds of wood, often in cedar. Using only a knife, he followed the natural characteristics of the wood in developing a simplified, modern sculpture that also maintained the essence of the subjects.

Uncle to John Suazo - stone sculptor
Brother to Heronima Jerrie Track - potter
