Jewel Nail Bomar (aka Lian Ramob) received training in Santa Fe, New Mexico with Jozef and Teresa Bakos. She exhibited locally in Fort Worth and won Honorable Mention, ca.1952, in Fort Worth with the painting, "Midnight Necklace." Most of her work remained in the collection of her son, Bill Bomar, the painter, collector. and co-founder of the Old Jail Art Center.

FORT WORTH, Tex. - Mrs. W. P. Bomar, 70, member of a pioneer Texas milling and ranch family, died at her home here last night. The former Jewel Ruth Nail, Mrs. Bomar was born in Wolfe City and moved here with her parents in 1900. Her husband was formerly president and general manager of Bewley Mills, one of Fort Worth's earliest milling firms. --Corpus Christi Caller, Weds, Oct 13, 1965, p11-B
